Wyatt Nako is passionate about having productive conversations about the toughest issues facing our country. On Georgetown’s campus, he helps lead an initiative that brings students together across differences—and through C&S’s Our Voices Summit, he expanded that work across generations as well.
“Being able to talk to people of different generations has been very eye-opening and something that a lot of young people don’t get the opportunity to do. When there isn’t that weird power dynamic of authority from an older figure, they’re just as open, willing to listen, make mistakes, and figure it out just as much as young people are.”
At a time when age can divide as much as ideology, Wyatt is creating space for people to meet in the middle. His work shows that civic problem-solving grows stronger when we learn with—not just about—each other.
By 2029, C&S will bring together 20 million young people like Wyatt to step up as civic problem-solvers.
